About Arthur Wolk

Experienced pilot and aerial acrobat Arthur Wolk possesses the necessary background to conduct aviation litigation successfully. Philadelphia resident Arthur Wolk holds the highest Federal Aviation Administration credential offered: an Airline Transport Pilot certification. Having logged thousands of hours in the air over the last 30 years, Arthur Wolk has piloted a variety of multi- and single-engine land and sea aircrafts and become intimately familiar with flying in an array of circumstances. Endowed with a courageous spirit and a talent for aeronautical maneuvers, Arthur Wolk has flown in air shows through the United States. Demonstrating his outstanding flying ability, Arthur Wolk served as a Cat 5 in the Flight of the Grumman Cats for 11 years.

Preferring the handling and performance of the F9F-2 Panther, Arthur Wolk is one of a handful of flyers with authorization to operate the 1950s era jet fighter. In 1996, Arthur Wolk survived a serious airplane crash in Kalamazoo, Michigan, when the Panther jet he was taking off in developed mechanical problems. The accident gave Arthur Wolk a unique perspective fighting for the rights of plane crash victims and victims’ families by allowing the attorney to experience firsthand what both flight crews and passengers endure in an uncontrollable aircraft collision. His broken arm and back long healed, Arthur Wolk puts that fateful day into perspective each time he steps into the courtroom as a lawyer for The Wolk Law Firm.

Arthur Wolk holds a Bachelor’s degree from Temple University and a Juris Doctorate from Temple University Beasley School of Law. The recipient of Temple University’s 2005 Founder’s Day award for his singular achievements in law, Arthur Wolk serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at his alma mater, where he teaches the school’s first Aviation Law course.
